Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily team meetings, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.
• Lead and engage in team activities to meet and exceed performance objectives.
• Coordinate the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and employees to optimize production.
• Mentor and train team leaders and members, cultivating a positive work atmosphere.
• Track time sheets and attendance records, ensuring timely completion of performance reviews.
• Address staffing needs and resolve personnel issues promptly.
• Implement ergonomic production layouts for efficient process flows.
• Establish robust data collection systems for quality and resource tracking.
• Ensure strict compliance with TS-16949 procedures and work guidance.
• Contribute to advanced product quality planning, developing control plans and work guidance.
• Identify effective monitoring and data collection systems for critical processes and parameters.
• Assess personnel and resource capabilities, assigning tasks accordingly.
• Maintain schedules and meet weekly production requirements.
• Oversee information systems and production data procedures.
• Ensure comprehensive training and development for all team members.
• Collaborate with other departments in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate production equipment to meet schedules.
• Guide and engage in departmental continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure timely reporting and investigation of accidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field. (Twelve years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA industry health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in management information systems and application software.
• Extensive manufacturing management experience in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and people skills.

Preferences:

• Current pursuit of a degree in a technical or business field.
• Familiarity with synchronous manufacturing principles.
• Experience with TS-16949 compliance.
• Prior experience in implementing ergonomic production layouts.
