POSITION OVERVIEW
Operate both automated and manual machines, test and visually inspect finished product. Warehouse operations including material conveyance, operating a hand held scanner, repacking and operating material handling equipment such as forklifts.
SHIFTS AT DENSO
(Not ALL Shifts and work schedules are available at all times)
1st:
Monday-Friday with possible daily/weekend overtime needed– (8-10hr shifts) - $18 (no shift premium)
Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts (possible overtime required on other days) - $18 (no shift premium)
2nd:
Monday - Friday with possible weekend overtime - (8-10 hour shifts) - $19.62 (includes shift premium)
Monday - Thursday - 10 hour shifts (possible overtime required on other days)- $19.62 (includes shift premium)
3rd:
Monday - Friday with possible weekend overtime - (8-10 hour shifts) - $19.26 (includes shift premium)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Maintains supply of components for automated equipment.
- Operates automated equipment to produce finished product.
- Performs routine visual inspection on product.
- Utilizes measuring devices to check quality of product.
- Performs troubleshooting and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Completes various production reports daily.
- May be assigned different workstations or rotate between stations to reduce fatigue.
- Takes action as required by policy, procedure and training in response to audible or visual alerts.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies
- Confers with other associates and the chain of command as necessary to identify and resolve problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned by chain of command.
- Maintains pace and cycle times throughout shift
- Maintains speed during walking distances between machines or areas
- Able to use fine motor skills to assemble parts small and large
- May be required to lift, reach and pull items up to 33 pounds. May be required to cumulatively walk long distances throughout day
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Stable work history
- Ability to work daily and / or weekend overtime
- Ability to perform at fast cycle times while maintaining safety and quality
- Ability to walk long distances throughout shift
- Ability to use fine motor skills
- Ability to lift, reach and pull items up to 33 pounds Ability to stand in a location for duration of shift
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job you may be asked to stand for the duration of the shift, walk for the duration of the shift, lift or carry component parts weighing up to 33 pounds, use hands to handle or feel parts, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, use both verbal and written communication and use near, depth, peripheral, color and distance vision.
