Job Overview:
We are seeking a Line Supervisor to join our team. As a Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the Production Line and ensuring that all operations run smoothly. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Production Line workers
- Ensure that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained
- Train new employees on operating procedures and safety protocols
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Implement and enforce safety regulations to create a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate hand tools and power tools
- Proficient in using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
