Hospitality Laundry Production Worker Job Description:
- As a Production Floor Worker, you will work in the designated area of ironing, hand folding, or machine folding.
- Our primary objective is to meet or exceed the production standards of each area.
- The job duties require repetitive motion, including moving hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders.
- This is a Full Time Job 40+ hours per week possible. We are looking forward to having you on our team.
Hospitality Laundry Production Worker Duties:
- Load linen articles into machines for ironing and folding using a large mechanical iron.
- Manually fold various linen articles and stack them appropriately.
- Identify stains and mending items and place them in the correct carts for storage.
- Aid in other areas of the facility when needed.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Hospitality Laundry Production Worker Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to differentiate between different types of linen articles for folding and ironing purposes.
- Will require repetitive motion when feeding linen items.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. continuously.
- Must possess good manual dexterity.
- Must be able to work in a hot environment.
- Must be able to meet and maintain a production standard for each assigned area.
- Must be able to perform all jobs in the production area.
