As an RLS Production Engineering Intern, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Production Engineering while contributing to the overall success of the organization. Here are some key aspects and responsibilities you might encounter during your internship:
Learning and Training:
- Acquiring knowledge about the company's manufacturing processes, equipment, and products.
- Participating in training programs to understand safety protocols, quality standards, and production procedures.
Assisting in Process Optimization:
- Collaborating with experienced production engineers to analyze and improve manufacturing processes.
- Contributing ideas for efficiency enhancements and cost reduction.
Quality Control Support:
- Assisting in quality control activities, such as conducting inspections and tests to ensure products meet specifications.
- Participating in root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Supporting maintenance activities by assisting in routine checks and participating in preventive maintenance tasks.
- Learning to troubleshoot equipment issues and working with maintenance teams to address them.
Production Planning Assistance:
- Assisting in the creation and adjustment of production schedules.
- Learning to use production planning tools and software.
Cost Management Analysis:
- Participating in cost reduction initiatives and projects.
- Assisting in the analysis of production data to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhering to and promoting safety protocols in the workplace.
- Participating in safety training and awareness programs.
Team Collaboration:
- Working closely with cross-functional teams and learning effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Providing support to production personnel and gaining an understanding of team dynamics.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Participating in the documentation of production processes, procedures, and standards.
