The Pactiv Evergreen Packaging Turlock Carton Converting Facility is located in Turlock, California, within an hour of the California Napa wine country and in close proximity to the city of San Francisco . Opened in 1957 and employing 130 team members, the facility prints and die cuts refrigerated gable top cartons for a variety of national and regional brands supplying retail groceries and schools throughout the western US and Canada.

Purpose of the job: 

The key objective in this position is to provide support and assist the departmental supervisors and managers with the implementation, preparation and distribution of department reports, scheduling and various other manufacturing related clerk responsibilities. The role is expected to be able to be confident in working independently.  This role will also support the Plant Finance at month end with various types of Journal Entries, various reports for monthly waste, raw material and finished goods inventory, tons cut.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

1. Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or order to verify accuracy.
2. Verify and maintain records on incoming shipments
3. Creating Receiving labels and Receiving paperwork
4. Record Production Data, including volume produced and consumption of raw material.
5. Audit daily roll stock consumption in SAP, correct as needed.
6. Generate/distribute daily waste analysis report
7. Generate/distribute the Daily Waste Analysis Report
8. Summarize railcar tallies and provide to Receiving Department
9. Reconcile railcar receipts recorded against tallies
10. Maintain clean WIP Inventory
11. Perform cycle counts of roll stock inventory
12. Assist in quarterly roll stock/finished goods inventory
13. Assist in updating schedules and preparing dockets.
14. Generate production paperwork for print department, track status and is timely and accurate.
15. Reconcile daily production reports with adjacent shifts and departments
16. Follow up with team members to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
17. Accurately enter production report information (product information, run time, and downtime) on excel spreadsheet.
18. Support role to Plant Finance for month end Journal Entries
19. Responsible for developing and maintaining spreadsheets, databases, reports and various electronic files; and other miscellaneous support activities.
20. Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
21. Assists in establishing and maintaining an effective and efficient records management system.
22. Generates reports and responds to inquiries regarding entered data as requested.
23. Prepares and enters information in a manner where it is ready for analysis and reporting using SAP reports and other supporting databases. Investigate any discrepancies.
24. Performs backup duties for answering the phones, managing outgoing/incoming mail, and entering information into appropriate website for UPS/FedEx deliveries.
25. Communicate effectively to correct issues of reporting due to electronic failures; continue to support the process through research and correction.

1. Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, squat 8 to 10 hours a day
2. Must be able to wear all necessary safety equipment
3. Must be willing to work on manufacturing production floor
4. Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
