Job Description
Well established manufacturer in Trenton, NJ is seeking a Production Coordinator to join their team in a fast paced environment!
This person will assist Plant Manager in implementing Lean manufacturing/plant and workflow improvements along with the following below:
- Scheduling by coordinating a preassembly station and finished goods production.
- Conducting time studies.
- Assist with Lean transformation.
- Work with Plant Manager to improve plant efficiency.
- Responsible for taking daily production counts, collecting production data, compiling and accurately updating manufacturing ERP system.
- Responsible for performing new and updating existing production times studies.
- Assist Plant Manager in ensuring OSHA compliance along with Implement daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping and safety program and ensure OHSA compliance.
- Assist Plant Manager in documenting all work functions and developing manufacturing SOP manual.
- Process improvement, time studies and data collection.
- Workflow management.
Qualifications:
- 3+ working within production/manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of kitting and providing exception reports.
- Knowledge of a production environment and ERP system a must.
- Strong Excel and date collection experience.
- Computer and software application skills (All MS Office; MS Teams; ERP and CRM applications preferred)
- Excellent math, data compilation, and analysis skills.
- Lean manufacturing and 6S experience is a must.
- Knowledge of safety laws and regulations/DEP and OSHA preferred
