We have a large and expanding climate-controlled manufacturing plant in Hilliard, Ohio, easily accessible from I-270.
Job Description: The robot operator will be in charge of set-up and running up to 8 custom automatic welding robots. You will review sales orders and assist in determining a daily production plan. You will set up each robot according to material, size and order quantity. In order to offer our lifetime weld guarantee, particular attention to detail must be made. You will have to confirm proper alignment of cord and visually inspect the welds in accordance with our QC system. Basic troubleshooting of robots is required if welds are not acceptable or if something malfunctions. Replace reels of material as they run out (up to 50lbs) several times per shift.
Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Careful attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good eyesight (Our belts typically range from 1/8" to 5/16" diameter)
- Proficient using a tape measure, including fractions
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work on feet for long periods of time
- Self starter who can work independently
- Previous manufacturing and/or production experience is preferred
- Basic electrical knowledge is a plus
- Experience with pneumatics is a plus
