Purpose
Copper Cane is looking for a Bottling Operator is responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of the various manual and automated equipment associated with the bottling line.

Bottling Responsibilities

- Takes part in clean up and preventative maintenance activities
- Participates in the setup of machinery and ensures all production materials are available
- Participates in troubleshooting on the line
- Operates and monitors equipment and replenishes materials as needed
- Visually inspects production run and documents results
- Determines and reports malfunctions to appropriate parties
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and mobile bottling unit
- Packages, seals and labels finished product as required
- Conducts basic inspections of all moving components during set up operations
- Operates the bottling line to optimize packaging rates and ensure quality standards
- Updates production quantity, time, scrap, and labor rates on a daily basis
- Inspects all bottle filling equipment regularly and repair, oil and adjust as needed
- Completes overhaul and cleaning of bottling machine components as scheduled
- Maintains a safe work environment
- Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration
- Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
- 2nd shift
- High School Diploma, preferred
- At least two years of bottling experience
- Ability to cover morning/afternoon/3rd shift when we are running during peak times and would need to flex time based upon production needs
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of labelling operation
- 8-hour shift is typical with occasional overtime
- Basic computer literacy preferred
- Basic reading and writing skills are required

- Must be able to work in a 45-65 degree warehouse
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs
