SalaryOverview: Production Associates will work in greenhouse and packaging facilities sowing, germinating, transplanting, harvesting, and packaging hydroponically grown produce.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up of assigned work area, including stocking area with packaging, boxes, plant-protective equipment, and more.
- Ensure the workspace is clean, sanitized, and ready for the day.
- Harvesting lettuce in the greenhouse.
- Quality checking lettuce for size and quality standards.
- Packing lettuce in clamshells and preparing clamshell for grocery stores.
- Running machinery on the automated packaging side.
- Full cleanup of work area when job is done.
- Maintain compliance logs for food safety programs.
Individual must be able to:
- Follow general food safety requirements.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
Each task expected of our employees can be taught and trained. We are looking for employees who are reliable, good team members, have strong communication skills, and take initiative when they see something that needs to be done.
This position is for our evening shift, which will run from 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM (roughly) with an hour-long break for dinner.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
