Job Summary

This is a stand-up, hard-working job in a warehouse environment. The Assembly & QA Associate position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a high quality final product. The right candidate is a hard working team player who enjoys putting together a complete, correct, high quality final product for shipment.

Position: Assembly & QA Associate

Reports to: Plant Manager

Location: Southlake, TX

Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, varies with our production schedule. Overtime available during busy seasons.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively check all print production jobs for quality and accuracy at all stages. Work with QA team, warehouse, and production staff to ensure all jobs are completed with high quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Check all hardware orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality of materials and packaging.
• Assemble hardware and graphics as needed on a per order basis - banner stands, pop ups, tension fabric and other large format graphic products - ensuring quality, completeness, fit, and function. Take QC photos of orders which demonstrate all these aspects.
• Finish cut graphics by applying adhesive velcro, magnets, grommets, etc as needed on a per order basis.
• Ensure that the tools and work area for product assembly and quality assurance are in good working order and are free of safety hazards.
• Neatly and securely pack finished products for shipment.
• Work collaboratively with production team members to ensure that production jobs are well prioritized, accurate, and completed on-time and without waste.
• Assist other production team members with production-related tasks as needed.
• Communicate proactively with supervisors and management regarding any production errors, production efficiencies, workplace hazards, or other concerns.
• Comply with all safety regulations and Ace Displays policies, demonstrating a positive attitude.

Abilities and Experience:

• Experience in a previous quality assurance role – especially with large format graphics – is a plus. (But if you don't have experience we will train.)
• Ability to operate quickly, efficiently, effectively, and with a high quality of execution while handling delicate materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to carefully handle delicate printed materials to avoid damage and ensure a high-quality final product.
• Good eye for color, quality, and details.
• Strong organization and communication skills are required.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude at all times.

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate a computer (monitor, keyboard, mouse).
• Ability to do basic math calculations.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends on rare occasions during busy season.
