Volt Workforce Solutions is now hiring 1st shift Assembly Workers for Schneider Electric in Maryville TN
Mon-Fri 6:45am-3:15pm $19/hr temp to hire
As an Assembler you would:
• Read and interpret component and assembly drawings.
• Review bills of material and determine if all product components are present.
• Assemble parts and subassemblies.
• Test products according to instructions and specifications.
• Package finished goods.
• Produce quality results in a reasonable time frame.
• Rotate through different tasks and learn different products.
• Perform tasks as the manager or team coordinator directs.
• Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices.
• Maintain strict inventory control of all material movement.
• Keep workstation area and housekeeping at company standards.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 year assembly/manufacturing experience preferred
• Proficiency in written and verbal English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent attendance record.
