Job Summary:
A Production Assembly Technician - Inspector performs visual, functional, and final inspections on hardware utilizing defined inspection procedures. They accept conforming items and process nonconforming items in accordance with established procedures. An inspector functions as a production technician when not performing inspection operations.
This position is an onsite role.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Conduct a variety of quality inspections on products, materials, components, parts at various stages of the production process as well as receiving and shipping, to ensure compliance with established technical data requirements and quality/reliability standards.
- Prepare and complete necessary documentation for reporting acceptance or rejection of inspected items.
- Assures workmanship follows required specifications.
- Assist in documenting procedures and instructions for inspection operations (i.e., mechanical set ups, fixtures, and tooling constructions, etc.)
- Provide Engineering, Manufacturing and/or Quality with measurement results and data to aid in disposition of discrepant material.
- Identifies and tags discrepant parts and materials, determines cause and makes minor adjustments to equipment and/or takes appropriate corrective action.
- Applies knowledge of AS/ISO Quality Systems, Auditing techniques, Continuous Improvement
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
