Job Purpose: Produce captivating, high-quality videos and photographs of Gourmia’s products for use on product packaging, marketing materials, and social media. Harness expert knowledge of equipment, set design, lighting, and post-production editing to elevate the brand's visual appeal and engagement.
Job Duties:
- Film and photograph Gourmia products, highlighting their features, functionality, and appeal.
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to understand the product positioning and desired messaging.
- Manage all phases of the production process from conceptualization, shooting, editing to final presentation.
- Set up and break down production sets, ensuring optimal lighting and angles.
- Edit and post-process videos and photographs, ensuring brand consistency and high quality.
- Collaborate with social media and marketing teams to determine best practices and content strategies.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in product videography and photography, continuously refining the content.
- Maintain and manage all videography and photography equipment.
- Organize and archive footage and photographs for easy retrieval and repurposing.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Photography, Media Production, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in professional videography and photography, ideally with a focus on product or commercial content.
- Experience shooting and editing products with various textures including stainless steel.
- Experience in post-production editing and finalization of content.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in using professional video and photography equipment.
- Expertise in lighting and set design for product showcasing.
- Strong photo and video editing skills using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- A keen eye for detail and a creative mindset.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their video/photography content requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with kitchen appliances or similar products.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of product videography and photography projects

- Office-based role in Brooklyn, NY, with potential for on-location shoots.

Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 annually
