Product Packer

Are you passionate about reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and plants ? Bioactive Supply's goal is to help customers create a slice of the ecosystem their animal would be apart of in their natural habitat. We make substrate and carry natural items that help replicate their natural habitats. As a vital member of our team, you'll specializing in the packaging of substrates, leaves, and other essential supplies that contribute to the creation of bioactive setups. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that reptile enthusiasts receive top-quality products, expertly packaged and ready to transform terrariums into thriving ecosystems. This position may include the opportunity to travel, expenses paid, to reptile expos to help promote the BioActive Supply brand. Hours: 20 hours per week, 5 hours per day, Tuesday through Friday. Start and end time can be flexible.

Day-to-day tasks will include prepping items for packaging, packaging dry good products, labeling products, getting them ready for sale. Printing out order slips, picking items for shipping and boxing them up, and managing inventory counts online.

Responsibilities: Pack, seal, and label products according to company standards, Load and unload materials from trucks or containers, Perform order picking, Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular counts, and Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills: Ability to load, unload, and package products efficiently and accurately, Knowledge of reptile, amphibian, and invertebrate care is not necessary, but a plus, Ability to load, unload, and package products efficiently and accurately, Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
