Today, we are connecting people more than ever as we expand our mission to other mediums, networks and realities.We are looking for a Consumer Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our marketing team. The candidate will drive the overall marketing strategy for key product areas, launching new features and experiences that people love and shaping the next evolution of messaging for Meta’s family of apps. The ideal candidate is someone who excels at advocating for the end consumer, managing complex projects in a matrixed organization, and cares deeply about the Messenger mission. This candidate has a successful track record of building, launching, and scaling consumer products.

Product Marketing Manager, Messenger Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with product and business partners to influence and align on objectives and plans, in order to deliver compelling value for the Messenger community
  • Develop product positioning and messaging for new features, considering value proposition, target audience, and wider market implications
  • Contribute to the overarching launch strategy, including rollout sequencing, creative asset development, and communication goals to best set up the product for launch and gaining traction in market
  • Oversee execution of go-to-market plans by collaborating with cross-functional teams and identifying synergies and tensions across the Messenger experience
  • Organize and manage operations for multiple work streams, deadlines, and meetings for large cross-functional teams to drive execution
  • Influence product strategy and in-product communications through relevant consumer insights, product acumen, and driving alignment across teams

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of experience launching and growing consumer products for global brands
  • Marketing experience working across complex product launches
  • Proficiency in managing communication with internal and external audiences
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams
