As the Product Marketing Manager at Branch, you will be at the forefront of defining the positioning, messaging, and marketing assets for our platform, product offerings, and new product/feature launches. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products resonate with our target audience, driving engagement, adoption, and ultimately, business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional ability to execute, a keen understanding of the fintech industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine the positioning and messaging for our platform and product offerings to effectively communicate value proposition, differentiation, and benefits to our target audience.

  • Marketing Asset Creation and Management: Lead the creation and management of Product Marketing assets, including but not limited to sales collateral, website content, demo videos, and presentations, that align with the messaging framework and resonate with our target customers.

  • New Product/Feature Launches: Collaborate closely with our Go-to-Market and Product teams to develop and execute successful launches for new products and features, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and target market needs.

  • Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by ensuring they have accurate, compelling marketing materials and resources to effectively communicate product value propositions, address customer objections, and drive sales conversions.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Go-to-Market Strategists, Marketing Program Managers, Product Managers, Sales, Customer Success, and other key stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of marketing initiatives and alignment with broader business goals.

  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats, leveraging insights to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.

  • Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing content and initiatives, regularly monitor and analyze performance data, and iterate on strategies to optimize results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

  • 6+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably in both B2B and B2C, with a proven track record of success launching and positioning new products and features.

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling messaging.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft engaging content for various audiences and channels.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and performance measurement tools and methodologies.

  • Familiarity with BaaS or fintech industry is a plus.
