- The Agile Srcum Master / Product Owner/Manager to Capital Markets Technology initiatives and projects responsible for maximizing the value for Capital Markets Technology.
- He/she will be responsible for monitoring, creating, and improving Client software application strategy, products, microsites, APIs and related items usability following user-centered design (UCD) best practices.
- Key responsibilities include defining the vision and roadmap for the deal execution technology, defining and prioritizing stories, creating prototypes, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team.
- This role works closely with senior business partners (Syndicate desk, head of DCM/ECM Syndicate, Execution Services and Fixed Income/Equity Sales) to understand their needs and Technology Development Team in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment.
- They are experienced in the role of a Product Manager/Owner and have a deep understanding of the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of Capital Markets applications, how they are used by the business and how applications fit into the overall deal workflow;
- Communicates the product vision and roadmap to C-Suite stakeholders and business teams, and drives user adoption.
- The UX Designer will work closely with other Client IT professionals across multiple teams and projects to refine the user experience and ongoing usability tests on Client software application products or application features to ensure best in-class user journey functionality and experience.
- 10+ years of experience as Product Owner/Manager
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design or related discipline
- Financial or similar industry experience
- Experience working directly with the front office, ideally in a trading floor environment, is strongly preferred
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize effectively and handle responsibilities for multiple projects / support issues concurrently
- Agile skills to write quality Epics, User Stories, effectively prioritizes the backlog/work items, defines acceptance criteria and aligns business stakeholders on priorities. JIRA and Confluence.
- Exceptional interaction and visual design skills
- Familiarity with human-centered design methodologies and rapid ideation processes such as Lean XD and Design Sprints
- BI Tools experience is helpful; MS Office, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint
- Work experience designing websites, applications, and other digital interfaces.
- Experience designing native mobile applications is a plus.
