Summary
Promote business unit growth though product and project focus. Directs R&D/Engineering programs in order to develop new products and improvements that contribute to business unit objectives. Monitor bid and quotation schedule, proposal development, pricing and pricing strategies with Regional Managers. Monitor and manage booked order and shipment performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote business unit growth through product and project development.
Directs the product attributes and promotion of the product.
Defines R&D/Engineering programs in order to develop new products and improvements that contribute to business unit objectives.
Envisions, develops and maintains the tools necessary to support the Application Engineering, Regional Manager, Representatives, and Cooperative Partners.
Conduct seminar and project presentations.
Develop and implement business plan programs and expenditures.
Define and implement product marketing strategy and maintain awareness of competitive supplier’s activity.
Creates and Participate in product presentations to assist field personnel. Communicate specific equipment benefits to customers and provide product expertise.
Provide technical sales training and support to Application Engineering, Regional Manager, Representatives, and Cooperative Partners.
Reviews pilot testing reports.
Monitor bid and quotation schedule, proposal development, pricing and pricing strategies in cooperation with Regional Managers.
Monitor and manage booked order and shipment performance with respect to business plan targets for revenue and gross margin.
Support Regional Managers in development of forecasts for booking and shipments.
Support Application Engineering in reviewing bid specifications and drawings as required by procedures.
Negotiate contract language as it relates to warranty and process guarantees.
knowledge, skills and abilities
Must be computer literate and have familiarity with Microsoft Office software.

Usual office working conditions with moderate noise such as computers and printers, telephones and copy machines.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of related training and experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
