Job Description
As the Product Manager of CogAT, you will be responsible for building and executing the product development strategy for CogAT and other ability products by understanding customer needs, defining product vision and strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that the product aligns with company goals and resonates with the target audience. You will serve as the ultimate advocate for CogAT customers and align customer feedback with internal resources and product development timelines to maximize CogAT growth, customer satisfaction, and market penetration.
In this role you will get to:
- Evaluate current customer behavior and product trends, build customer feedback loops, and infuse market insight into product strategy
- Create the 3-year product vision for CogAT and lead the development and execution of a 1-year product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Transform customer needs into clear product requirements and communicate them effectively to cross-functional teams
- Drive the iterative development of CogAT and partner with Platform leaders to scope the platform enhancements
- Launch and oversee GTM strategies in collaboration with marketing for all product iterations and enhancements
- Utilize key performance indicators and objectives to drive product adoption
- Engage with various internal teams, including support, finance, and client services, to identify product enhancement opportunities
- Build a price optimization model, considering underlying costs and profitability
- Own the revenue growth for the CogAT product line

Requirements
- 3-5 years in product management, with a track record of product delivery and growth
- MBA preferred, experience in education preferred
- Adept at creating detailed user personas that encapsulate different user segments, including their characteristics, behaviors, and goals
- Skill in asking probing questions to uncover underlying user needs and requirements
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles to ensure that the product strategy is aligned with customer needs
- A “go-getter” attitude who can lead a project from vision-setting to completion
- Ability to execute and drive scope development and management
- A strategic mindset that can balance customer needs with larger business priorities
- Proficiency in managing all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept and development to launch and post-launch optimization
- Competent at analyzing market trends, customer needs and competitive landscapes
- Understanding of business metrics, financial analysis, and revenue models to ensure product success and profitability
- Ability to conduct a win/loss analysis to determine product shortcomings and effectively plan product positioning and development strategies to mitigate shortcomings
- Adept at data analysis and using Tableau to track business metrics
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Asana, and Tableau
Physical Requirements for this position:
- Remote
- Up to 10% travel for off-site team meetings
- May require stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended periods.
