SUMMARY

Arcticom LLC a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Product Development/Marketing Specialistfor USDA DISC in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will provide support to the Marketing SME for branding and messaging for the portfolio suite of technology services for both USDA and non-USDA customers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support execution of the DISC marketing strategy
  • Maintain Point of Contact lists
  • Develop themes and market differentiation for DISC
  • Maintain and catalog marketing assets
  • Maintain customer personas/journey maps
  • Conduct market research
  • Support, enhance and maintain the DISC marketing plan
  • Brand awareness
  • Content strategy and calendar
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Marketing content change management
  • External outreach
  • Governance and process
  • Timeline and budgets
  • Deliver, Report, Assess, Improve marketing campaigns
  • Design and Development of Marketing Collateral
  • Sales tools – presentations, flyers, case studies
  • Platforms – web presence, customer resource management tool
  • Assets – interactive collateral, apps, videos, graphics, emails, print and banner ads.
  • Campaigns – search, email, cross channel

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary)

  • Associates Degree
  • Two years of experience in Developing and Marketing
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in the English language. All contractor employees must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills
  • Problem solving, analysis and writing skills

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Time management experience
  • Microsoft Teams and collaboration tools
  • Microsoft Office 365 PowerPoint skills

Preferred

  • Secret Clearance

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
