Description
Kerecis seeks a Product Development Scientist to join a small but seasoned team of medical device professionals
responsible for the development and commercialization of the company’s next generation products across
its wound, burn and surgery market.
This full-time role is located in the Company's Minneapolis, Minnesota, facility and reports to the Senior VP of Research &
Product Development.
Responsibilities:
- Design, perform and report on laboratory experiments and product testing
- Perform and document laboratory experiments
- Analyze data collected in lab experiments using graphical and statistical methods
- Clearly and efficiently communicate research progress using presentation tools in weekly group meetings
- Maintenance, calibration and use of laboratory instruments in a safe and reproducible manner
- Demonstrate effective time management and efficiency through careful planning and multitasking
- Maintain the laboratories chemical inventory and order lab supplies as needed. Must be comfortable coordinating with vendors by phone and email.
- Miscellaneous lab support duties as needed
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

- Proficient organizational, record keeping and communication skills (oral and written), with excellent presentation technique
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a field of science (e.g., biology, biochemistry, chemistry)
- 3-5 years of experience in medical Product Development
- Work history in an FDA and/or ISO regulated development environment; specifically, 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485
- Knowledge of FDA 510(k)/PMA/De Novo process is desirable
- Verification and Validation experience
