Who We Are

Come join Intel's Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) which is part of the Design Engineering Group (DEG). MPE’s Networking and Connectivity Engineering team is chartered with making manufacturing and product engineering a competitive advantage for NEX business. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component debug capabilities to enable high-quality, high-volume manufacturing.

Who You Are

In this senior technical leadership role, you will be responsible for the manufacturing test strategy and silicon execution for 5G/networking and edge product segments. You will be required to work effectively and partner with teams within the Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) organization to enable product and team success and work across divisions at Intel to influence strategic and tactical decisions across all phases of product definition and execution. In this role you will be required to lead and partner across all product phases from product definition to pre-Si design/validation, first Si readiness, Si bring up and then all the way to Product Release Qualification. Technical partnerships need to be built within MPE teams and Intel-wide divisions across architecture, design, process technology, QnR, ATM and ATTD for success. You will be required to provide product updates to senior management.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp.
  • Making significant contributions to design, development, and validation of testability circuits.- Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods.
  • Develop and debug complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment.
  • Develop production test hardware solutions.
  • Test, validate, modify, and redesign circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
  • Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
  • Analyze early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
  • Create and apply concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.
  • Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of creating and implementing integrated, multidiscipline solutions.
  • Ability to work in unstructured environments and to initiate and drive new model path finding activity from ambiguity (concepts) to clarity (defined direction and development).
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, effective listening and influencing skills that result in strong working partnerships across organization boundaries.


Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other STEM related field with 9+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or other STEM related field with 7+ years relevant experience.

Relevant experience should include:

  • 7+ years of applicable experience in pre-silicon and post-silicon test development.
  • Microprocessor test experience (ATE and/or system test and/or pre-silicon verification).
  • Strong background and knowledge in hardware architecture, analog/logic/memory design and implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of circuit design/Si process/test domains.
  • Chipset integrated circuit testing and high-volume manufacturing experience would be an added advantage.
