Product Designers are early in their careers and are creative, thoughtful individuals with a strong aptitude for designing, prototyping, producing best-in-class experiences, improving workflows, and paying attention to detail. Passionate individuals that create compelling, engaging, and meaningful human-centered experiences for clinical specialists and their teams. An individual capable, with minimal oversight and guidance, of driving their design projects to fruition as they collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, stakeholders, and clinical and operational users to conceptualize, design, and iterate on user interfaces and experiences. Their work should demonstrate a strong command of visual and interaction design principles combined with an innate understanding of how people use digital interfaces to communicate clearly and emotively with a diverse audience. While producing best-in-class experiences, they receive support to function independently and to develop leadership, management, and communication skills.
The ideal candidate should be a problem solver, have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, excellent visual design skills, and proficiency in design tools such as Figma and/or Adobe Creative . Additionally, experience with customer engagement, presentation skills, prototyping, and usability testing methodologies is highly desired.

Responsibilities
With minimal oversight and guidance,
- A UI/UX focused individual who is a natural at understanding human-computer interaction design (HCID)
- Uses human-centered design methods to frame and validate initial concepts, develop early-stage prototypes, and iterate on developed solutions
- Provides appropriate human-centered design deliverables on assigned products, including interaction guides, user interface guides, interface design files, wireframes, documentation, and interactive mockups using tools like Figma, InVision, etc.
- Assist in conducting UX research on patterns in the market and our users’ habits.
- Define UI and UX strategies based on project’s target goals.
- Implements new and improved design patterns, methods, and processes
- Advocates for users, considering their needs and wants
- Builds appropriate project plans, goals and work plans to frame early-stage efforts in an actionable and relevant way
- Able to lead stakeholder sessions, user groups, and participatory design sessions to capture ideas, feedback, and requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human-Centered Design or related field (i.e., Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Communication/Graphic Design, Cognitive Psychology, Interaction Design, Human Factors, etc.) required or comparable degree or experience
- Advanced degree preferred
- 2+ years’ experience as a UI/UX designer and in designing, delivering, and continuously improving consumer-facing products in a marketplace preferred, along with being a front-end developer using Angular, React, View, or other related technology is preferred.
- A comparable combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the above stated preferences
- A portfolio of exceptional and multidisciplinary work that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles
- Commercial application development experience is preferred
- Experienced with CSS, CSS extension languages and CSS preprocessor tools
- Advanced knowledge of HTML and best practices and experience with responsive design (mobile browsers, etc.) and designing for accessibility (A11y)
- Advanced experience with designing interfaces and click-through prototypes for mobile/web applications, including complex UX workflows and feature suites.
- Is visually and verbally articulate, including the ability to lead interactive group development sessions
Preferred:
- Previous experience in public speaking, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries
- Desire to conduct discovery and research prior to design
- Proficiency with Figma tools (components, variants, variables etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, designing reusable deliverables
- Previous experience working in a service-led organization
