The Global Streaming Product team lives and breathes design excellence. We're a cross-functional team of product managers, UX researchers, UX designers, product engineers, and data scientists. What You'll Do:

This role will be on the Viewing Product's Platform and Capabilities team, leading the effort to evolve and internationalize our design system. As part of a cross-disciplinary team, you'll use your interactive, visual, and prototyping skills to create and maintain a predictable look, feel, and experience across Global Streaming Product's international platforms.

  • Support our global expansion by delivering production-ready, unified, and cohesive sets of localized UX and visual documentation for our suite of international products across mobile, web, and TV.
  • Create high-fidelity mocks and interactive prototypes to communicate your UX decisions.
  • Collaborate and strategically plan with all product, design, engineering, and brand teams across continents to define the future of the design system.
  • Contribute to our international efforts by building and maintaining a strategy for localization and theming of the design system.
  • Be an advocate for the design system by sharing your work cross-functionally, educating peers, and promoting adoption.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and define areas where we can evolve the design system by introducing new user interfaces and experiences.
  • Inspire the entire team by championing new ideas and ways of working.
  • Define the next generation of GSP's global design system by evolving its foundation, components, and interfaces across multiple platforms and territories.
  • Maintain a critical eye and obsessive attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Degree in design, computer science, human factors, or equivalent work experience.
  • Design professional with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience as designer with ability to take critical feedback and problem solve.
  • Understanding of Design Systems, interaction design principles, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience designing for localization, translation, and international markets.
  • An understanding of component-based design and Design Systems to contribute to a scalable, sustainable approach that enables speed to market, evolution, and optimization.
  • Proficient in modern design and prototyping software like Figma, Sketch, Framer, Origami, etc.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with exceptional collaboration, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong portfolio of mobile, web, or TV work that clearly maps your process and articulates your design decisions.
  • Deep knowledge of cross-platform usability standards and UI specifications.
  • An understanding of the best design practices across different media, platforms, and devices.
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Excited about working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
