Product Delivery Driver

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Product Delivery Driver to join our team at Fortuna Enterprises, LLC. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe and timely delivery of products to our customers. Responsibilities:

• Safe and Efficient Delivery: Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport products to designated locations while adhering to traffic laws, company policies and delivery schedules.
• Load and Unload: Accurately and efficiently load products onto the delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling, securing and arrangement to prevent damage during transportation.
• Route Planning: Plan the most efficient route to reach multiple delivery locations, considering factors including but not limited to traffic, distance and delivery windows, to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records including receipts, delivery confirmations and any other required documentation. Report any discrepancies or issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience for customers. Assist with product inquiries and troubleshooting when necessary.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, both on the road and during product handling. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the delivery vehicle.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with the warehouse and other applicable teams, providing updates on delivery progress, delays, or any other relevant information. Communicate and collaborate with team members to resolve issues and coordinate delivery logistics.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License: Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift, carry and transport product weighing up to 50lbs+.
• Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills to plan routes and meet delivery deadlines safely.
• Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to make decisive decisions and resolve issues or obstacles during deliveries.
• Reliability: Punctuality, dependability and a strong work ethic are essential for this position.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, as needed, including evenings as delivery schedules may vary.
• Geographic Knowledge: Familiarity with local roads, traffic patterns and areas of service is advantageous.
