AddressMulti-specialty ophthalmology practice seeking a Cataract and Refractive Surgeon to focus on building a refractive practice within a surgically busy group. Cataract volume is expected to grow quickly, as all surgeons in our practice are currently extremely busy with cataract surgery. The new associate will primarily focus on refractive cataract surgery, an area the practice already engages in but lacks a dedicated leading surgeon. In addition to cataract surgeries, the practice intends to expand its vision correction services, with the new associate performing LASIK procedures and offering other vision correction options.
The practice is physician-owned, offering an up-front and transparent partnership track. All partners hold equal shares in the practice. The practice currently maintains a large network of optometrists who refer patients to the practice, providing ample opportunity for the new associate to tap into and expand upon. There are no long-distance clinic locations to cover, and surgeries are performed at two surgery centers, both of which are open to partnership opportunities.
Compensation will include a base salary with a production bonus. Given the growth trajectory of previous associates (now partners), a significant bonus can be expected in the first year.
