SalaryAs a Product Data Specialist within PPG’s Protective & Marine Coatings team, you will ensure the creation and management of material content, data and requirements for the material master data (MDM) process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, segment, supply chain, manufacturing and sales. You will focus on ensuring accuracy and introduce all Product Data within the region. The Product Data Specialist will report to the Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- You will manage the creation of material master data by collecting required information and ensuring all governance policies are followed.
- Execute the processes for all material data maintenance in SAP, including product transfers, status changes and extensions of existing material data in US and Canada plants/distribution centers.
- Cross-references information to ensure data is accurate and formatted to specifications.
- Validate requests and processes changes in system.
- Support department projects to improve processes and build-out additional functionality.
- You will work with Product Management on new item introduction, deletion, and modification.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience working in master data maintenance.
- SAP S4/Hana experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Have high level of accountability/adaptability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Project Management skills.
