Requirements and Responsibilities

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years' experience in cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Analyze financial data to expose any information useful in improving operating efficiencies and changes in product design, raw material, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
• Make estimates of new and proposed Product Costs and recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts.
• Apply principles of cost accounting (standard cost system) statistics to provide management with detailed and accurate Product Cost information.
• Communicate problems and propose solutions to senior/peer management.
• Perform analysis of cost-related accounts and accounts reconciliation.
• Helping build the annual budget and project variances.
• Develop production cost center year end and next year operating labor and overhead rates for SAP cost system.
• Analyze and interpret manufacturing and overhead spending variances.
• Prepare P&L bid templates from downloaded SAP sales quotes.
• Design pricing mechanisms and formulas
• Strong SAP knowledge is a prerequisite preferably gained as part of a successful implementation or upgrade of a SAP system.
• SAP Profitability Analysis (COPA) is a plus.
• Industrial Engineering experience/Knowledge a plus.
