Reports to: VP Engineering Technology
Position Overview:
The Product Architect for Data Operations provides practical, hands-on experience guiding the development of technology using current and emerging strategies, applications, and techniques around our organization’s data.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Work closely with our product development team to define data requirements for any new products or enhancements.
- Analyze current systems including performance, size, and velocity of data, and contribute to solution designs.
- Support reporting and analysis directly through the use of business intelligence tools.
- Provide assistance to systems engineering, solutions, and support with respect to how data can be leveraged.
- Organize and lead communication across cross-functional teams.
- Ensure zero missed service level agreement conditions.
- Analytical skills, critical ability and attention to detail.
- High level understanding of business processes.
- Leverage internal and external resources to research service interruptions, vulnerabilities, and intelligence on various updates and enhancements that will improve our operational efficiency. Develop and maintain automated SOPs for maximum availability and security, in coordination with the IT Security team.
- Work with our Enterprise Security, Threat Intelligence and Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) Teams to identify threats, develop or recommend countermeasures to our clients, and perform advanced network and host analysis in the event of a compromise.
- Experience working on SQL databases; preference for working with data warehouse technologies.
- Experience with major business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Looker.
- Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python.
- Experience using agile methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer/Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience in a data analyst, product analyst, or product management role
- Knowledge of data security, privacy, and common vulnerability remediation

- This job operates in both an office and field setting, requiring mobility between locations and the routine use of a computer and other standard office equipment. The ability to lift or move up to 5 pounds, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks may also be required.
