The Role
Brandlive is looking for a Senior Engineer to join our growing team! As a senior member of the team you’ll help guide the team technically, helping us make the best decisions for the incredible products we are creating every day. We’re a small team that cares about collaboration, encourages curiosity, celebrates technical excellence and is driven by careful attention to detail and planning for the future. Responsibilities
- Develop feature functionality for Brandlive’s primary product portfolio (and more)
- Platform
- Greenroom
- Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs.
- Write clear, efficient, and scalable code with an eye towards maintainability.
- Collaborate with peers and be a strong voice in design sessions and code reviews.
- Take ownership of features and support planning and development by understanding the details (effort, risk, priority) of the planned features in an agile environment.
- Own and contribute to team productivity and process improvements.
- Prioritize quality, security and scalability for all development.
- Recommend and implement technical solutions to develop new and update existing product features.
- Use and develop APIs to create integrations between Brandlive and 3rd party platforms.
- Be an integral part of a close team of developers; mentoring other developers and helping teach best practices.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing technical solutions
- Advanced experience with React Redux, TypeScript, and SQL
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- A non-stop drive to deliver quality that exceeds expectations
- A proven track record of gracefully reacting to high-priority requirements with little or no notice, providing clear documentation and follow-through
- Extraordinary grit; smart, creative and persistence
- Experience balancing contending priorities and works well as an IC or with a team
- A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical-thinking
- You pride yourself on having excellent reliability, dependability and integrity.
- Verbal and written fluency in professional business communication in English
