Position Summary:
Mathematica is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our shared services team! As a Procurement Coordinator you will work closely with senior staff to gain knowledge in a variety of work processes including reviewing and processing purchase
requisitions, executing purchase orders, and determining price reasonableness. The Procurement Coordinator should also be knowledgeable
of procurement processes, procedures, CPSR and compliance guidelines. Supervision is needed.
- Perform necessary purchasing procedures for the acquisition of goods and services
- Review, prioritize and process purchase requisitions
- Review and execute purchase orders, change orders and other documents within delegation of
- Research market sources and vendors to locate and ensure competitive pricing for the purchase
- Perform price analysis and determine price reasonableness
- Monitor vendor compliance with all terms and conditions of the purchase order
- Provide administrative support relating to purchasing functions
- Provide guidance and assist others on the electronic purchasing system process
- Resolve questions and issues from users and vendors
- Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies with vendors
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Position Requirements:
Functional Knowledge (Preferred):
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint
- Knowledge of OnBase a plus
- Knowledge of Smartsheet a plus
- Experience with government compliance requirements involving CPSR (Contractor Purchasing
Education minimum requirement:
- High school diploma + 3 years’ experience.
- A combination of equivalent education and work experience may be substituted for the above
Years of Relevant Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a buyer or other related experience
This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $45,000 - $50,000.
