- Responsible for all procurement processes of raw materials including purchase orders
and inventory simulations
- Responsible to lead communication with raw materials vendors regarding
delivery/procurement issues
- Responsible for raw material month end activities
- Responsible for sourcing new raw material vendors
- Oversees supplier performance
- Oversees raw material receiving process including physical count, labeling and enter
in system (SAP)
- Oversee cycle counting of inventories using scanning systems in order to verify
accuracy of material and location, along with enforcing adherence to FIFO process
- Resolve inventory discrepancies by establishing root cause and countermeasures
- Maintains 7S within the inventory areas
- Oversees warehouse safety of team members and equipment
- Responsible for assessing subordinate’s skills and capabilities, allocating work and
performance evaluation
- Develop and implement effective training plans for subordinate personnel
- Ensure Production Planning schedules all processes in the manufacturing plant
according to requirements while maintaining efficiency
- Review daily shipping requirements to minimize the need for rush processing and
expedited shipments
- Communicate with Sales Planning and Knitting Departments to adjust batch assign
plan as necessary
- Support PC manager with customer buildouts in order to minimize obsolete inventory
at SNA
- Support to create monthly production plan with manpower and machine targets
- Oversees EDI transactions for outgoing shipments and ensure submissions before
deadlines
- Any other duty or task as may be requested by immediate supervisor/manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school degree or equivalent required. Two years degree preferred.
- Supervisory training is preferred.
- Very important to have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good decision making skills.
- Must have good organizational and supervisory skills.
- Must possess strong analysis/problem solving skills and have a high level of
mathematical ability.
- Must be able to make low and middle level decisions.
- Must have the ability to work well without close supervision.
- Must have intermediate computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
