OnsiteRaytheon is seeking a Principal Procurement Specialist to support a growing program. The candidate will be part of an offsite program team that captures, interprets, and converts customer requirements into material and subcontract requisitions. The candidate will work closely with numerous customers, members of the program management team, and the Raytheon Supply chain Management organization to plan, coordinate, procure, subcontract, and deliver material and subcontracts to meet the customer requirement.
This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where strong task ownership and drive can generate tremendous results and recognition. Successful candidates must have excellent customer service skills and be able to change priorities quickly to meet changing mission needs.
Duties include:
- Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure controlled flow of materials and services meet customer requirements.
- Confirming material supply and preparing purchase requests for the purchase of components or parts based on approved material tasks
- Preparing work orders, purchase requests, or SSOWs for subcontracted services based on the mission schedule.
- Coordinating interdepartmental activity with logistics, integration labs, training teams, quality assurance, supply chain management, and engineering.
- Providing status on work in progress, material availability, and potential delivery problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- Working closely with Financial Shared Services processing/monitoring payments in accordance with net term payments to respective suppliers and subcontractors.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently on a multitude of assigned tasks with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks to be completed.
- Excellent personal and communication skills.
- Strong experience working with MS Excel
- Strong team player
- Demonstrable experience of at least 4 years in a similar role, e.g. Supply Chain, Security, Project planning, Logistics.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Current TS/SCI with poly
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in supply chain systems (SAP, PRISM, etc)
- Experience generating Subcontract Statements of Work (SSOWs)
- Compliance with FAR regulation, company policy, and program run-rules
Required Education:
- High School Diploma
Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project
management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
