Procurement Analyst

Position Description: Our company is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to help with the planning, purchasing and logistics of our company's inventory. The Assistant Buyer will assist the Senior Buyer in helping to ensure that all merchandise and supplies are shipped on time. The Assistant Buyer is also responsible for keeping track of inventory and making purchasing decisions related to pre-existing or planned projects. Our Assistant Buyer should be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize their tasks based on deadlines.Responsibilities: Expediting open purchase orders, managing information related to open orders, as well as problem solving, managing returns, invoice management, purchasing goods within their assigned vendors, and deliver best in class customer service.Learn to source and place purchase orders.
Manage information within the ERP system concerning back-orders, expected ship dates, etc.
Assist Senior Procurement Manager with assigned current projects.
Procure assigned items as required.
Support inventory management process.
Establish and maintain a reputation of responsiveness in the marketplace.
Troubleshoot issues and negotiate with vendors accordingly.
Maintain communication with vendors and internal teams to ensure on time shipments.
Complete administrative tasks accuracy.
Maintain a strong partnership with the planning and logistics team.
$20.00 - $30.00 Hourly
