IACX Energy LLC is seeking a Process/Operations Engineer with 4+ years of experience in midstream assets in the oil and gas industry. Candidates should have ability to influence and motivate team members to accomplish operations objectives. Objectives include reducing downtime, increasing gas throughput, increasing gas plant efficiency/recovery, engineering assistance to plant and field pipeline projects, and identifying/correcting operational issues. Some experience in operating and/or designing gas processing and treating equipment is ideal.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Track mass and energy balances around company equipment
- Assist Operations to troubleshoot issues in plant operations.
- Assist Operations to troubleshoot issues in field gathering operations.
- Interface with plant and field operators to correct operations issues.
- Travel to plant sites for project installation oversight, start-ups, and periodic site visits
- Identify, formulate, and implement plans for process improvements.
- Sizing of equipment to meet project objectives and supply feedback to purchasing.
- Supply feedback and data for potential projects
- Data analysis for operations trends
- Ability to work on multiple projects.
- Ability to generate and supply data/information for regulatory compliance.
Education/Experience/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)
- Understanding of equipment and processes outside of primary discipline
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- An understanding of compression and gas processing and treating equipment
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- AutoCAD experience a plus
- SCADA and Flowcal Experience a plus
- Automation Experience a plus
- Ability to look at data critically and understand implications.
