The Processing Technician position is full–time/in person – The facility is located in North Phoenix (101 & 19th Ave) Hourly pay for this position is $20.19.
How You Contribute to Pinnacle Transplant’s Success
You are Pinnacle’s front line. You transform donated human tissue into high-precision products for use as surgical implants. You have direct ownership of the quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process, creating life-changing treatments for ailments ranging from spinal disc degeneration to foot wounds.
What You Will Do
- Produce allografts to meet goals and in accordance with PTT’s Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
- Document all steps performed throughout the manufacturing process.
- Package, label, and prepare final product for distribution.
- Set up clean room before, and turn clean room over after including mopping, sterilization of area using approved reagents and other cleaning tasks.
- Maintain and clean instruments and equipment used in production.
- Communicate with production leadership on any production issues, deviation from Standard Operating Procedures, and related supply inventories.
- Other duties as assigned.
How You Will Grow
- Develop skills in all areas of manufacturing stages including freeze-drying, sterilization, packaging and other areas of production.
Who You Will Partner With
- Your Production Supervisor. You will have daily verbal and written communication with your Supervisor and/or Production Leadership to ensure daily production goals are understood and executed with speed and quality.
- Your Team. Regularly work in independent and team settings maintaining professional communication with all PTT team members.
What Qualifications You Will Bring
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and verbal/written communication
Where You Will Work
You will work in a clean room environment in a manufacturing facility in North Phoenix, having contact with human tissue and bone. You are required to wear protective clothing including but not limited to hoods, face masks, gloves, boots, and coveralls.
Your work is physical in nature. It will require standing for long periods of time, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. It also requires repetitive motion with substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
You may be required to use equipment including but not limited to band saw, surgical instrumentation, autoclave, lyophilizer, moisture analyzer, heat sealer, sonicator, microscope, centrifuge, controlled rate freezer, cryo mill, calipers, desktop computers, and general office equipment.
