Processing Tech

We are adding to our manufacturing team. We are looking for driven people with a strong work ethic. Processing Techs are responsible for assisting Cinder Industries with processing cannabis products. The position is results based & quotas for production numbers are standard. High performers may be offered the opportunity to move to full time. The position requires long periods of focus with repetitive actions. The positions schedule is 25 hours per week from 5:30pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday. Weekend options are available after completion of 90 day probationary period. Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Duties

• Perform appropriate QA/QC protocol on all manufactured products.
  • Preroll QC + Close
  • Filling preroll tubes with finish prerolls
  • Labeling preroll tubes
  • Grinding & screening raw biomass
  • Filling cartridges
  • Weigh & pack flower
• Accurately process “raw materials” (prerolls, tubes, labels) into finished products according to assigned technical orders.
• Maintain organized records of all product and material invoices (retail cannabis, manufacturing biomass, and manufacturing materials).
• Participate in monthly processing evaluation meetings.
• Loading & unloading raw material or finished product deliveries.
• Maintaining safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards.

Skills:

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy for long periods of time.
• Strong team interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail is paramount
• Working understanding of Microsoft Excel, Google Suites, and other software used in the manufacturing process.
• Understanding desired end-product quality to execute QA/QC process accurately.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass a drug test at hire (excluding THC) and additional tests at Cinder’s discretion during employment.
• Be able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workflow on a daily basis to accomplish required tasks.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs safely
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
