This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.Job type: Full time Compensation: $20.00/hrShifts available: 2nd and 3rd shiftBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug InsuranceHealth and Wellness IncentivesPaid Vacation and Holidays401(k) with Cargill matching contributionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Short-Term Disability and Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition ReimbursementEmployee DiscountsPrincipal Accountabilities: Primarily duties include operating processing equipment and backup for various other plant production rolesOptimize drying including loader break reliefMobile equipment operation including front-end loader/ forklifts/etc Bulk truck loading coordination- primarily trailer hatch managementVan truck staging on overflow parking lot when neededProcess building housekeepingSalt storage pad housekeepingCollect samples/perform quality testing.High wall pile managementCoordinate hauling of trash salt/recycle balesUse of a computer in the processing office to monitor equipment in the buildingForklift operationsSetup and operation of packaging equipmentEntry of production related information into computersExperienced at problem solving with co-workersDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and in a positive mannerRequired Qualifications:A right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employerCargill requires employees to be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.Ability to perform physical job duties, which may include shoveling, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)High school diploma or equivalentBasic computer skillsAbility to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticePreferred Qualifications: Prior experience in production related workExperience in a manufacturing environmentExperience operating a front-end loader and forklift Experience with SAP and/or HMIExperience operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment (ex., packaging machinery, etc.)Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbally or in writing)Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
