Process Technician - Lsr

Summary

· Prepares systems, equipment, materials, and components for use during the LSR production process.

Responsibilities:

· Monitors and troubleshoots existing process parameters and production standards.

· Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

· Processes raw materials for use in production and performs quality control checks to ensure that established standards are met.

· Sets up and operates production equipment, tests for functionality and adherence to established tolerances, and make adjustments (Within validated parameters) or repairs as needed.

· May clean the workspace or perform routine maintenance after each production run.

· Maintains records and documentation.

· Work from engineering prints, bill-of-materials (BOMs), drawings, blueprints, electrical/electric schematics, operating instructions, and written and verbal instructions

· Use hand tools, small power tools, electrical hoists, powered industrial trucks, testing equipment, etc.

· Carryout prescribed maintenance and repair operations on state-of-the-art LSR molding machines and related equipment

· Assemble, disassemble, and maintain molds and wire switches: install hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical components, etc.

· Responsible for LSR molding machine set up including ancillary equipment as related to the molding process

· Follow and document process parameters to ensure repeatable results

· Process molding parameters to achieve quality parts and optimized cycle times

· Respond to machine alarms in a timely manner

· Responsible for proper handling and care of all materials, molds, and tooling

· Assist with the continuous operation of production equipment

Requirements/Experience:

· Five years of hands-on practical experience preferred.

· Working knowledge of IQMS system and basic PC literacy is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
