Salary range: $77,300 – 129,800
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development, testing, and maintenance of complex electro-mechanical instruments used in our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and optimization of these instruments, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of complex electro-mechanical instruments used in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the instruments.
- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and calibration of the instruments to ensure their accuracy and reliability.
- Perform routine and non-routine repairs on the instruments, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Assist in documentation of deviation, NCMR and ECO’s
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications performed on the instruments, maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in instrument performance and propose solutions.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements, including the installation and integration of new instruments.
- Train and provide technical support to operators and other technicians on the proper use and maintenance of the instruments.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with complex electro-mechanical instruments.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar).
- Strong understanding of lean principles
- Proven experience working with complex electro-mechanical instruments, preferably in a manufacturing or Process Engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for instrument maintenance, calibration, and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
