Process Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent education in a related field
• Technical background in engineering design and/or related experience
• computer experience - spreadsheet/charting, word processing and Auto CAD preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend Engineering drawings required

 

Job Duties:
 

• Develop, configure and optimize production processes from inception through to start up and certification
• Review design documents, routings and Bill of Materials (BoM) and make necessary changes
• Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
• Work closely with manufacturing on improving process and implementing necessary process controls
• develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• Analyze and manager cost along with the time constraints. Make recommendations to management
• Perform risk assessments
• Provide process documentation and operating/work instructions.
• Read and write technical/engineering specifications, perform technical calculations and perform process simulations.
