Process Engineer Technician - Benefits 100 Paid

We are looking for a detail-oriented Process Engineer Technician to support our engineering team in achieving production goals. The ideal candidate will contribute to equipment and process design, possess knowledge of thermoplastic composites, and ensure the efficient operation of machinery.

Engineering Support and Collaboration:

• Provides support to Engineers to ensure the production goals of the organization are met.
• Provides assistance to the review of existing and design of new equipment and processes.

Technical Competence:

• Possess a moderate understanding of general aspects of thermoplastic composites and forming.
• Identifying and monitoring machine parameters.
• Operate test equipment.
• Assemble small tools and test equipment.

Production Area Management:

• Maintaining a clean and safe production area.
• Ensure all materials are ready for a particular test event.

Quality Assurance and Accountability:

• Accountability for delivering quality work in required timescales.
• Recording test data.
• Conducting performance and development tests, including investigations.

Hands-on Operations:

• Technicians may expect to have direct contact with machines and components, observing, operating, and testing the product or component.
• Work with machine operators and under direction of operators, operate forming press and other machinery.

Communication and Leadership:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exhibit excellent safety leadership in the workplace, consistent with company policy.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions.

Project Management:

• Organize and prioritize the needs of multiple project tasks associated with more than one project.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant experience.
• 2-year degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Proficient in operating test equipment and machinery.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Commitment to safety protocols.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
