What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?

  • Investigate and resolve day-to-day production problems. Determine root causes of failures using problem solving and statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
  • Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products and processes or reduce costs using knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling and production equipment, packaging methods, quality control standards or product design, materials and parts; provide technical risk assessments and justification documents.
  • Provide technical process support for products assigned to value stream.
  • Troubleshoot new and existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
  • Review product designs for manufacturability and completeness.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
  • Apply continuous improvement methods to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost effectiveness. Participate in site-wide priorities and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
  • Coordinate, conduct and evaluate experiments that support process changes.
  • Prepare reports summarizing information or trends related to process performance.
  • Facilitate waste reduction through continuous improvement (CI) activities, implementing standard work, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
  • Conduct practical problem-solving training to provide leadership and fellow associates with a sustainable tool to combat process issues.

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:
  • Know, understand and comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) guidelines

  • Follow all safe work procedures

Education required: BS degree in an appropriate scientific, pharmaceutical, or engineering discipline and/or at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in pharmaceuticals or relevant industry.
  • Effectively drive improvements in the areas of yield, downtime, and deviations.
  • Effectively contribute to the successful achievement of safety, quality and production goals and metrics through excellent technical process support and problem solving.
  • Consistently demonstrate successful project management as measured in terms of scope, schedule and cost attainment and effective coordination and communications with stakeholders.
  • Consistently demonstrate subject matter expertise on the unique characteristics of the assigned processes.
  • Individual contributions and leadership in the deployment and integration of lean manufacturing principles and tools
