Process Engineer

Revology Cars is hiring a Process Engineer at the Orlando, Florida facility where we build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Process Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing robust manufacturing methods, processes, and tools that will allow the company to consistently achieve its quality, productivity, cost, and safety targets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design material handling solutions, racks, and workstations to ensure safety and production throughput.
• Analyze direct and indirect workflows to improve the quality and efficiency of manufacturing and other processes. Analyze labor hour trends by activity, station, and product configuration and propose actions to improve labor utilization.
• Work with production technicians to understand current processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Work with materials planning and logistics to optimize inventory layout at work stations and flow of work in process material through the production system
• Work with product development to implement standardized design criteria across all product lines to ensure that new products are designed considering manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders and prepare new equipment analysis to ensure the company is making proper in- and out-sourcing decisions.
• Utilize a visual factory mindset to create an organized and informed workplace.
• Drive a waste-elimination culture across production and other areas of the company.
• Support or conduct training for key processes on the production floor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field (e.g. industrial, mechanical, manufacturing engineering).
• At least two years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Energetic, organized, and able to manage a wide range of projects and priorities.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to work with all levels of the company.
• Working knowledge of Lean principles.
• Experience taking time studies and organizing data in a meaningful way.
• Experience configuring ERP systems.
• Working knowledge 2D and 3D CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia).
• Understanding of basic design principles to source or design carts, fixtures, racking, and layouts.
• Analytical and creative thinker with the ability to gather, analyze and make recommendations from data.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

PAY AND BENEFITS

• Salary range is $71,500-$124,700, depending on skills and experience.
• 10% performance bonus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Modern, air-conditioned factory located near Florida Turnpike and Consulate Drive.
• Production processes include welding, painting, assembly, quality checks, and warehousing.
• Safety eyewear is required, other PPE may be required as well in specific production areas.
• Travel is limited but may include visits to suppliers to support business needs.
