Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions is one of North America's largest architectural glass aluminum fabricators and distributors, with many locations nationwide, and we are GROWING! We are looking for a Process Engineer Intern to be based at our Orlando, FL Glass facility. You will have the opportunity to learn the Process Engineering functions through the supervision of our in-house engineer. In addition, you will partner with site operations leaders to identify savings opportunities and evaluate cost and process improvements. Your summer internship will be full time for the duration of your break- exact dates flexible.

SKILLS YOU BRING:
- Working towards BS/BA in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Understanding of continuous process improvement techniques and training.
- Excellent verbal, written and telephonic communication skills.
- Excellent ability to positively influence others.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze data and draw relevant conclusions to have positive effects on business.
- Excellent Excel skills
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Create and/or maintain engineered standards for different warehouse processes.
- Identify opportunities, partner with operations on solutions, sell the solution to leaders, and implement the solution if time permits.
- Cost benefit analysis including ROI calculations for comparing and prioritizing opportunities.
- Manage small projects, excel spreadsheets, and participate in cross-functional team meetings to stay on time, on task, and on budget.
- Interface extensively with other Trulite departments such as Operations, Inside Sales, Facilities, and Logistics.
- Analyze and key production metrics.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
