What you can expect as the Process Automation Analyst at Fortress:
As a Process Automation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role as an individual contributor. Primary responsibilities include identifying, assessing, and determining the applicability of various data sources to enhance Fortress’s product and service offerings. The Process Automation Analyst is also responsible for operationalizing these datasets through the creation of internal tooling.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct open-source research to identify new data sources for use in Fortress products and services.
- Critically evaluate data sources for applicability, quality, and usability.
- Compare and contrast data providers and sources to determine the best fit for the current project.
- Interface with data providers, providing feedback on data quality and usability.
- Design process flows and mockups demonstrating how to integrate new data sources into existing or net-new Fortress reports.
- Partner with engineering teams to develop sustainable processes and tooling for gathering, analyzing, and storing data.
- Identify and propose automation opportunities in existing operational processes.
- Utilize low/no code tools to build internal operations workflow automation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience conducting open-source research.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Familiarity with data sources and data providers relevant to both supply chain risk management (SCRM) and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated ability to work with limited direct supervision.
- Self-starter with the ability to take the lead on large projects.
- Experience leveraging APIs to automate data retrieval and integration.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Basic cybersecurity and supply chain risk management knowledge.
- Familiarity with MS Office and other business software.
- Ability to rapidly adapt to changing business needs.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic programming knowledge (JavaScript preferred).
- Some experience using artificial intelligence (AI) in work settings.
- Familiarity with Fortress’s products and services is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
