Form of workPRN / Part-Time Hospital Staff Pharmacist Position Available - We are looking for someone to work one weekend per month at Morgan Medical Center in Madison, GA. Additionally, there would be the opportunity to work weekday shifts on an as-needed basis.
- The weekend hours are somewhat flexible and usually are around a 2-4 hour shift on Saturday and Sunday. The PRN weekday hours are 8am-4pm.
- Weekday and weekend PRN shifts available
- This is not a remote/work-from-home position
- No hospital pharmacy experience required
Job Description:
Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling and professional consultation. Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand. Interprets physician medication orders. Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties. Responsible for supervising technicians on duty during shift.
Ability to represent the hospital and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional manner; ability to maintain customer confidentiality at all times; ability to comply with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices; ability to exercise judgment; ability to interact with all types of people; ability to maintain remain professional in all situations; ability to use time effectively. Utilizes pharmaceutical equipment to include automated dispensing machines, Laminar Flow Hoods and compounding equipment.
