DeliverIt Pharmacy is searching for experienced candidates for the position of PRN Retail Staff Pharmacist for our Bedford location.

Education:

• A Doctor of Pharmacy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications according to the prescription from doctors, etc.
• Maintain a current knowledge of all medications.
• Maintain a current knowledge of pharmacy legal issues.
• Communicate with pharmacy staff about matters concerning drug usage, drug interactions, and refunds.
• Sell non-prescription drugs according to company policy and multi-state board of pharmacy regulations.
• Operate the cash register and other cash handling devices as needed.
• Help perform drug testing.

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in the following are preferred:

• The retail pharmacy setting.
• Medication therapy management (MTM).
• PioneerRx and/or MatchRx computer software.
• Third party rejection.

Proficiency in any of the following languages is encouraged, but not required:

Spanish

Arabic

French

Vietnamese

Hindi

Gujarati

Urdu

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• Texas Pharmacy Board License (Preferred)
• Texas Pharmacy Board certification? (Preferred)
• IV Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Bedford, TX 76021: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
