Form of workWe are seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Wallis, TX. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide Physical Therapy services to patients.
- Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and communicate with the Physical Therapist regarding patient status
- Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
- Ensure that treatment areas are clean and organized
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding Physical Therapy
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
- Current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
